Say What...

So back in December there was a storm the hit the Northeastern part of the country and headed south. It made it all the way down to Texas. Thursday night Kris, the kids and I went to a concert and by the time it was over the ground was covered in water, sleet and ice. It was horrible and oh so cold. By Friday morning there was a thick layer of ice on the ground and roads and the Greater DFW Metroplex was shut down. There were people stuck in their cars on highways. Store shelves were empty of milk, bread, eggs and even mustard. LOL

Then a few days ago, I woke up and it was a dark morning and I didn't think anything of it. I went on taking a shower, feeding the kids and cleaning the kitchen. When I came out of the kitchen to clean the living room, I looked out the little window on the door and noticed my neighbors roof looked funny, so I went to the window. It was white outside. So I got Kris and we realized it was REAL snow. It was snowing rather large flakes and oh so beautiful. The kids and Kris had a ball playing outside. I was enjoying it until my pipes froze.
Which was awful, but was saved by Mom as she brought us a TON of water.
