Buddy's Birthday at the Zoo...

Had a wonderful time going over to the zoo with the whole family. Sure there was A LOT of whining and screaming but we made it through. And we only lost one and only once. It seemed like everyone had a favorite animal. Mine was the white tiger and the hawk eating a rat. Taylor could have stayed in the penguin building all day. James loved the crocodile and alligator. Kris enjoyed the jokes about some of the questionable behavior of some of the animals. Some are better left unsaid. Kris and Dad had a wonderful time. Cassie and I loved the ability to take photos of the kids and animals.

I did not use all of my photos as I have some reserved for a post this weekend.

Looking for gorillas that aren't there. LOL
 Spying on meerkats

 Just chillin'

 "Look at the hippos daddy"

 Growing over the rail.
 He's just beautiful

 Happy birthday Buddy!

He was letting everyone know he was there.
I warned a few people not to walk underneath this guy and one girl didn't listen and got blood in her hair. Also there was fur falling like snow.

 Such a goober

 Not a happy camper

Week 2 of 52 (Black & White)...

This weeks challenge was Black and white. I have been wanting to get a great photo of my babies and B&W is awesome when it comes to sibling photos. So I set out to get an excellent photo and I did. I am so happy with this one (the first photo) and I will be printing for my wall as well.

The Littles...

Life goes by rather quickly, you blink and your baby is a month old, blink again and their 2 years old. Next they'll be off to college or the military. My biggest baby will be 5 this year and I don't know how it's gone so fast. They are all so smart and so strong.

Taylor is my stubborn, strong-willed, and oh so loving little girl that I can't get enough of. She is a butt sometimes but she is still my little girl, who if your sick or upset she will not leave your side. She is ready to help out with any deed or chore. She loves to take care of her siblings and being the best big sister she can be.

James my little man. He is so grown up and so intelligent. He is also is so loving, a bit rough but very loving. He does not like anyone being sick or upset, he is the first to run to you if you are hurt or crying. I love the little ball of energy that is my son.

And last but definitely not least... Rebecca my beautiful baby angel! She is a joy in our little family. She may or may not be our last but at the moment she has completed our little home. She came a bit early but just on time. She fills our hearts with so much joy and is so loved by everyone she comes in contact with. She is just a little doll baby.

#1 Uncle...

My kids absolutely love their Uncle Ryan. James especially, he runs up to him when we go to visit or if we see them at church. They play together all the time and oh the rough housing they do, both are dirty fighters lol. Ryan is just plain awesome as an uncle and a dad. Also a brother and son!

James loving on his uncle Ryan (he didn't want to get up at all).

Grandma and Grandpa...

These kids absolutely love their grandparents and the love is mutual. They would cross oceans for all six of them. They all have a special spot in the grandma and grandpas heart. I love the joy that the kids have on their face when they are going to see them. They are awesome grandparents and the love they give to these kids are just amazing.

Week 1 of 52: Children...

So Cassie and I are doing a 52 week challenge and helping each other by keeping each other accountable. This weeks theme is "children". I think this one is rather easy, we will have some hard, some not so hard and rather easy themes in the coming weeks. I am praying I can stay motivated and committed to this.

So here are my photos:
